• August 18th meeting

  • Practice for all levels will start September 13th … times TBA later
  • Tryouts for all teams will be held September 14 and 15 (an invite only tryout will be on September 17)
  • Servite league will start Sept. 14, on Wednesdays and will run until October 26th. Games will be played at ASC (American Sports Center).
    • JV will play at 6:00
    • Varsity will play at 7:00 
  • Weights will continue Mon-Thur from 3:00-4:00 … times will be updated weekly on the Calendar in case of any changes
  • Webpage: You can find all of our information listed there. If you type in: www.cypresshighschoolbasketball.com. This is constantly updated so the best source for info for you and/or your player.
  • Adds/Banners: As a fundraiser, we will advertise companies through our webpage, program, and on a looping slide presentation during all of our home games.
  • Uniforms/Equipment:  cost will be approximately $250 for Frosh/JV and $275.00 for Varsity. This will be due at the end of September / beginning of October with your fall fees and Bingo money.  Plan accordingly. 
  • Fundraisers: We don’t have another fundraiser scheduled right now, but fundraising is part of the basketball program and all families MUST participate. It is unfair to the families that participate to carry the weight for the rest of the program. We are still working on a buy-out price for those families that would just like to pay and be done. 
  • Bingo: Our first Bingo is October 23rd. ALL families will pay an upfront cost this year at $75.00. If you work your Bingo shift, you will be refunded the $75.00. If you don’t, we will use the $75.00 to hire someone else to work it. You can contact Monica Papke with any questions or if you can work October 23rd.
  • Picture Day / Tip-Off: Tip-off is our “family” day and is scheduled for November 5 10:00-2:00.  This is also picture day for the program and yearbook.  We will have games/fun/food/raffles and more.  It’s a great time for all team levels and their families.
  • Board meetings: will be the second Thursday of every month. You can mark your calendars now for the entire year. It is imperative to have our parents attend these meetings so they know what is going on with the basketball program. We welcome new ideas or solutions to running a more effective Booster club.
  • Financial report:  a report was given with regards to our accounts and status.
